The Elk Grove Brewery was housed in one of the oldest surviving buildings in Elk Grove built in 1885. It was probably the most visited historical place of interest in Elk Grove from 1995-2008 thanks to award winning brewer Bill Woods, now a brewing partner at the Auburn Alehouse. It was also a great venue for live blues that I've enjoyed playing at several times with The Detours. |

The Old Town Elk Grove Foundation is a non-profit organization made up of local business owners and residents dedicated to preserving Old Town's historical past while investing in its future. Old Town Elk Grove is listed on the National Historic Places register and contains several buildings dating back to the mid 1800s. The area is populated by a broad array of more than 70 shops, restaurants and service businesses and residents. |
